Southside Growth – Springfield

South East Queensland—already a great place to work, live and play – is set to become even more of an adventure paradise with a ‘super-sized’ playground planned to coincide with a new $6 billion mixed-use residential development.

As part of the City Centre North Project by   Springfield Land Corporation, the elevated playground will be constructed in the early stages of the development, and add a new play dimension to the precinct’s already popular Orion Lagoon and Robelle Domain.

The project vision was planned and designed by consultants from Woods Bagot and Urbis, and has taken all aspects of living into consideration. They expect to deliver an outstanding space, making the best use of public space, parkland and great shopping, with a focus on children’s play, and access to both nature and adventure.

The playground will be just a part of the development which is City Centre North comprising of:

¨ 10,000 apartments

¨ Vast open space and parklands

¨ Extensive education facilities

¨ Major retail destinations

¨ New Commercial office buildings
