We are excited to announce that the REB Women in Real Estate Awards 2021 has announced us among the finalists in three categories:

  • Property Manager of the Year (Laura Valenti)
  • Thought Leader of the Year (Laura Valenti)
  • Women’s Community Program of the Year (SafeHome Alliance)

The Women in Real Estate Awards is the benchmark for excellence, recognising the outstanding women influencing the Australian real estate profession.

Founded to celebrate the female leaders, role models and future champions of the industry, this esteemed accolade provides a platform for women leading in their field to be acknowledged and celebrated for their achievements and contributions to the industry.

Commenting on the announcement, REB news editor Grace Ormsby said there’s a lot of anticipation building as the REB Women in Real Estate Awards 2021 returns to an in-person event.

“All those named as finalists ahead of this year’s awards have well and truly proved their acumen in the real estate industry, especially given the trials and tribulations that have faced all Australians over the past 12 months,” Ms Ormsby said.

Laura’s career journey to this point has been one of determination for fairness for women in the property industry, in particular property management. She is also fighting for more professionalism in the industry through continuous professional development and raising business standards.

In addition, Laura’s focus on assisting Domestic and Family Violence survivors to secure safe rental homes through industry awareness has led her to found the SafeHome Alliance – on the shortlist for Women’s Community Program of the Year.

The winners of the awards will be announced at a black-tie dinner in Sydney on Thursday 15 July.
